We are happy to announce that we now have a new folder in our group
"Fractal Inspired" is for all those creations which, though not necessarily created by fractal programs, are visually inspired by fractal designs.
This could be sculpture, painting, textiles etc; so long as the fractal inspiration is visually apparent in the piece.
Check out these two examples from our first artists to be featured in the new folder...

This will be the second incarnation of the fantastic fractal group started by !DsyneGrafix (https://www.deviantart.com/dsynegrafix) around 5 years ago. It has become so massive and hard to give
members the attention they have earned...and hopefully simplify the admin room and the submission process. I truly hope that the former members of XtremeFractal will comeagain and help make it great. Fractals should be seen by as many people as possible. Will You come and be part of this new adventure?

I'm taking a DA sabbatical.
The fractal community holds a special place in my heart - thank you all for all the support and camaraderie you've shown.
XtremeFractals is the premier fractal group on DA - I've long believed that - before, during and after my time here as co-founder.
